To promote road safety and educate the community on the importance of traffic rules, 108 Ambulance Services organized a captivating Nukkad Natak in 3B2 Market Mohali and Motiaz Royal Business Park, Zirakpur.The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the hazards of driving under the influence of alcohol, emphasizing the value of human life and the significance of adhering to traffic rules. As a part of the engaging program, the 108 CDC staff also delivered a remarkable dance performance to convey the message of responsible and safe driving. People were also encouraged to follow traffic rules diligently as it can save the life of both drivers and pedestrians.

The Nukkad Natak, performed by talented artists, allured the attention of the residents and passers-by with its powerful portrayal of real-life traffic scenarios. The play emphasized the potential consequences of reckless driving, specifically under the influence of alcohol, and urged the spectators to prioritize their safety and the well-being of others on the road. The incorporation of dance into the performance added an innovative and interactive element, effectively reinforcing the importance of traffic rules like drive under the speed limit, don’t drink and drive, avoid overtaking, wear a helmet and seat belt. The Nukkad Natak was performed by the Shunya Theatre Group.

The Nukkad Natak was performed in the presence of HR Head, Mr. Rohit Katri, Sr. Operation Manager Pankaj Shama, Operation Manager, Guramandeep Singh, Marketing Manager, Deepak Kumar, from Ziqtza Healthcare Limited, Marketing Head, Jyoti Sharma, Maintenance Head, Amrinder Singh from Motiaz Royal Business Park were present.

Divulging details about the Program, Mr. Manish Batra, Project Head of 108 Ambulance, said, “At 108 Ambulance, we are deeply committed to promoting road safety and saving lives. Through the engaging Nukkad Natak and dance performance, we aim to educate the community about the significance of following traffic rules and raising awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. Our goal is to foster a responsible driving culture that ensures the well-being of every individual on the road.”

108 Ambulance remains dedicated to its mission of providing prompt emergency medical services and safeguarding the lives of people. By organizing events like the Nukkad Natak, the organization strives to create a positive impact and bring about a behavioral change in road users, ultimately leading to safer roads and reduced accidents.

Also being responsible citizens of the country, we must give way to an ambulance, as they play a pivotal role in the golden hour. Every second counts in a medical emergency, it may mean the difference between life and death.
