Continuing its efforts towards placement drives, 42nd Aryans Job Fest was today conducted at Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh. Over 114 candidates have got selected by over 24 companies from various sectors including IT, ITES, BPO, Health Care, Banking, Insurance etc participated in the fest.
Over 1200 candidates came from various parts of North India in the job fest. The company representatives interacted with the students over the different job profiles, skills required, competition in the market, Job scenario etc before the process.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that apart from theoretical knowledge students should focus on personality development, gaining skills, practical know how, short term skill based courses etc to meet the requirement of the growing and changing modern industry and technology.
Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group commenting on the occasion said that Raksha Group and I Server Admin Pvt Ltd were the prominent companies offering salary package upto 5 lacs per annum. Heavy rush was also witnessed in the companies like Bluechip computer systems, TecHindustan Solutions, Canvas Overseas, Ragasoft Solutions, Essline Engineers, Platinum Infosys, Smrita Nursing Home, Mtech Informatics, Web Tunix etc also hired MBA, Nursing, Web Designers, B.Tech (ECE) etc candidates.
Students from various Colleges/Universities including Bharat Group, Mansa; D.A.V Yamunanagar; RIMT Mandi Gobingarh; SUS Tangori; SVIET, Banur; Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, Beant College, Guru Gobind Singh College, Surya world, AIMT Ambala; UMIT; Panjab University, Punjabi University Patiala etc participated in the fest.
