Haryana Government in collaboration with Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC India) along with Pharma Technology Index.com Pvt. Ltd. will jointly hold the 12th edition of PharmaTech Expo & LabTech Expo from 28 to 30 April 2022 at Parade Ground, Sector 17, here. The event is dedicated to pharmaceutical innovation, technology and knowledge.
The Expo is an international exhibition on Pharma Machinery, Formulations, Nutraceutical, Lab, Analytical & Packaging Equipment. Sanjeev Kaushal, IAS, Chief Secretary, Haryana will be the Chief Guest for the inauguration of Expo on Thursday.
A press conference was addressed by Dr. Rakesh Suraj, Regional Director, Engineering Export Promotion Council of India and Anil Chaudhary, Senior Manager, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana at Chandigarh Press Club here.
The exhibition has been planned in the space of 7500 square meters, with more than 200 Exhibitors displaying machinery and equipment for producing drugs and pharmaceutical products & the event is expected to be visited by about 5000 visitors.
An Inaugural Session and Haryana Exporter’s Conclave is being organized jointly with Government of Haryana and Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC India) on 28th April, they said, adding, a seminar on “Quality and Regulatory Requirements of Pharma Export Business” with focus on “Make in India” is being organized jointly with Government of Haryana and Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC India) on 29th April.
Further, large number of organizations including Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEPC India), Laghu Udyog Bharti, Himachal Drug Manufacturers Association (HDMA), Ambala Scientific Instruments Manufacturers’ Association (ASIMA), Drug Marketing & Manufacturers Association (DMMA) and other industry associations and Industrial Houses have extended support to the event.
This conference and exhibition will provide a platform for the industry players to understand current issues and opportunities in the Pharma Machinery sector especially in this region. Additionally, the exhibition will showcase the latest products, machinery, equipment & developments in the industry for generating business and technology adaptation and up gradation especially related Pharma Industry.
“The event is being held after successful deliverance of the past 11 events including three at Indore, four at Ahmedabad and three successive events at Chandigarh and one at Mumbai and with patronage of our repeated & new exhibitors have persuaded us for sequential events. With the cooperation of industry, we are pleased to announce that this is the fourth consecutive event in Chandigarh and there is 40 percent growth in exhibition area and about 50 percent growth is expected in visitors during PharmaTech and LabTech Expo 2022 as compared to our first event in 2017.”, they added.
Anil Chaudhary while briefing the media said, Chief Minister of Haryana has a vision to transform Haryana into a hub for the pharmaceutical industry. Going by this vision, Haryana State has already notified “Haryana Pharmaceutical Policy in 2019” to facilitate a conducive and holistic ecosystem consisting of robust infrastructure, financial assistance and a simplified regulatory regime. The Govt. of Haryana is proactive in promoting the pharmaceutical sector as Haryana is in an advantageous position due to its strategic location, quality infrastructure and industry friendly policies. A pharmaceutical park is also being developed in Karnal to facilitate the pharmaceutical units in Haryana.
He added, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, a Govt. of Haryana undertaking is entrusted with the job of organizing trade fairs and exhibition for promotion of industries in the State. Under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Haryana, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal, IAS, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana realised the need for organizing Pharma Tech Expo and Lab Tech Expo-2022 whereby Pharma Machinery and Equipments would be exposed to the buyers representing pharmaceutical industries from different parts of the country.
Dr. G. Anupama, IAS, Addl. Chief Secretary, Govt. of Haryana and Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana has made commendable efforts for organising this exhibition for making available great opportunities for the Indian small scale engineering companies to provide machineries to the pharmaceutical industry, Chaudhary explained.
