2 days GI Endoscopy workshop was conducted on 23rd and 24th of January by Dr B S Bhalla, Senior Consultant Surgeon and GI Endoscopist . During this workshop, which was well attended by surgical specialists and physicians from Patiala, Suman, Kurukshetra, Kullu and Jullundhar, doctors attended academic sessions and live case demonstrations at Indus Hospital. The workshop was conducted by Dr B S Bhalla, Senior Consultant Surgeon and GI Endoscopist at Indus hospital. He informed that during this workshop, delegates learned about various aspects of upper GI endoscopy and also saw 23 procedures done live. Dr Bhalla said that “GI Endoscopy is a common and very useful modality to diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases; it is our endeavor to train more doctors in the field of GI Endoscopy, so that they can learn and acquire new skills and their patients can benefit from it”.
