Home Credit India Finance Pvt. Ltd, along with Chandigarh Police, rolled out a unique initiative called Jagruk aimed to provide latest trends & skills related to cyber-frauds specifically in finance industry. The initiative seeks to assist the Police force by sharing best practices with officials investigating complex cases pertaining to financial frauds and cybercrime.
 
The event was organized in the presence of Smt. Nilambari Jagadale, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, U.T,  Chandigarh and Mr. Manish Kaushik, Head – Security, Home Credit India along with other senior officials. Chandigarh is the eighth city where the initiative has been rolled after being successfully launched in Gurugram and implemented in Ambala, Mehsana, Bhopal, Visakhapatnam, Kota and Faridabad. 
 
Welcoming the initiative by Home Credit India Smt. Nilambari Jagadale, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, U.T,  Chandigarh said; “The rising incidents of cyber stalking, web jacking, theft of online data, virus dissemination, etc. pose a significant threat to individual, public and private sector organizations. In such a scenario, an effective cybercrime management strategy can help identify and prevent cyber attacks .As an important step, we intend to provide our citizens a safe and friendly platform aided by technology for online banking, thus protecting them from financial frauds and cyber-crimes. Our partnership with Home Credit India will play a major role in helping us spread fraud awareness and reduce cybercrimes in the city.”
