Teachers and students of Adarsh Public smart School (APS 20) Sector 20 B Chandigarh celebrated Teej Under titled name “Sawan Aayo Re”.
A Cultural Programmed was organized student sung songs for the welcome of sawan and dance on the tunes. Principal of the school, Mrs Sunita Thakur said, Teej refers to the monsoon festival. The festival celebrates the bounty of nature, arrival of monsoon in India. It marks the beginning of the festive season with social activities, rituals and customs.
