Gian Jyoti Global School celebrated festival of Raksha Bandhan with great fervour and enthusiasm at its campus in Phase-2, Mohali. GianJyotians wore colorful traditional Indian dresses on the occasion. Rakhi making activity was organized in school and the children were told about the sacred bond between brother and sister.
Mrs. Gian Jyot, Principal, Gian Jyoti Global School while interacting with the students said that the School organized this event to educate students about the significance of this festival. Students were familiarized with the customs and rituals followed on Raksha Bandhan.
Mrs. Gian Jyot further said that during the Rakhi Making competition was also organized. Gian Jyotians used their creativity to create dazzling Rakhis. Students made beautiful cards and wrote touching messages for their siblings.
