Prominent Sikh Farmer Leader, Chandigarh State President of All India Jatt Mahasabha and National Delegate of Mahasabha S. Rajinder Singh Badheri said that the spectacular victory of the Congress candidates in the local body elections of Punjab has given a clear indication that next year in the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state, once again under the leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh the Government will be formed. He said that in these elections of Municipal Councils, Municipal Corporations and Nagar Panchayats the people have rejected Badal Dal, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party from the outset.
Mr. Badheri said that this victory of Congress was also a victory of the policies of the present Punjab government. He said that SAD, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party would have to face similar defeat in the state assembly elections.
Mr. Badheri further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should understand the real situation by watching this trailer. He said that it would be very costly to harass the farmers, therefore the Union government should immediately repeal the anti-farmer laws.
Mr. Badheri also said that like other parties, the Congress did not pay any attention to accusations but focused more on development in Punjab; That is why the people have again welcomed this party.
He said that these election results in Punjab had proved that the policies of the Congress were pro-people and progressive; That is why the opposition parties have been completely rejected by the voters. The Opposition will be wiped out in the Punjab Assembly elections.
