Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) in collaboration with Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Management of Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College (GGDSD College) organised a lecture on ‘Potential of Circular Economy in Indian Growth’. Dr. S. K Sharma, Founder Director, Energy Research Center Panjab University was the eminent speaker. The lecture started with the welcome note by Dr. Deepak Jindal, President, CMA. Dr. Ajay Sharma, Principal GGDSD College emphasised on the collaboration of industries’ witheducational institutionsand the relevance of interdisciplinary research for the sustainable growth of economy.
Dr. S.K. Sharma shared his intellectual thoughts on the needs and benefits of the circular economy in India. He also discussed the importance of recycling of products related to electronics, iron and steel, construction and aluminium. The lecture was made interactive and queries from the audience were successfully resolved by the learned speaker.
For strengthening the relationship between two legacies the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed at the end of session. The vote of thanks was proposed by Col. Vasudeva .
