Prakriti-The Environment society in collaboration with NSS organised an Anti Cracker Awareness Campaign within and outside the college campus on 17th Oct, 2017.
On this occasion a human chain was formed and a rally was organised by members of faculty and students. The rally was flagged off by Principal Prof. (Dr) Anita Kaushal. She emphasised on the importance of celebrating an Eco friendly Deepwali and thereby reducing the air and noise pollution.
She administered an oath to celebrate Green, Clean and Cracker Free Deepwali. More than 100 students participated in the awareness campaign. The students were carrying Placards bearing the slogans Like ‘SAY NO TO CRACKERS’, ‘CELEBRATE DIWALI WITH DIYAS AND CRACKERS’ ‘HAVE A ECO FRIENDLY DIWALI’ ‘BURST EGO NOT CRACKERS’.
