Third Satluj Six-A-Side Football Championship has started in Satluj Public School, Sector 4, Panchkula. Principal Krit Serai was the Chief Guest for the Opening Ceremony.
The participating teams are St. Joseph School, Chandigarh; Delhi Public School, Pinjore; Satluj Public School (Team A); Vivek High School, Chandigarh; Satluj Public School (Team B); Doon International School, Mohali; Satluj Public School, Panchkula (Team C); St Soldier School, Panchkula and Satluj Public School (Team D).
Results of the First Day of Satluj Second Six-A-Side Football Championship –
The first match was played between Satluj Public School, Panchkula Team-A versus St. Soldier School, Panchkula. Satluj Public School won the match by 1-0. Prabhat of Satluj scored one goal in Second Half.
The other match was played between Doon International School, Mohali versus Satluj Public School, Panchkula Team B. Doon International School won the match by 3-0. Bharat Preet scored two goals and Harshit scored one goal in First Half.
The third match was played between St. Joseph School, Chandigarh versus Delhi Public School, Pinjore. St. Joseph School won the match by 3-0. Aayush Mohan, Martin and Amrit scored each goal in First Half.
The fourth match was played between Vivek High School, Chandigarh versus Satluj Public School, Panchkula Team-C. Vivek High School won the match by 2-1. Jorawar Singh of Vivek High School scored two goals in First Half and Anurag of Satluj scored one goal in Second Half. The final will be played on Friday.
