A delegation of All India Federation of Self Financing Technical Institutions (AIFSFTI) under the leadership of President, Dr. Anshu Kataria; General Secretary, Sri KVK Rao recently met with Prof. Alok Prakash Mittal, Member Secretary, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Sh. Shridhar Singh (Rajasthan), Mr. Lalit Aggarwal (Delhi), Sh. T D Esawara Moorthy (Tamil Nadu), Sh. Rajeev Chand (Maharashtra) along with other office bearers from various States were also present on the occasion.

All India Federation thanked AICTE for implementing Hon’ble Supreme Court decision on Orissa lift Irrigation Corp. Ltd case.

KVK Rao said that with the implementation of decision of Hon’ble Supreme Court over 10,000 colleges of the Country have got new ray of hope and colleges would now get level playing field.

Dr. Anshu Kataria while speaking said that AICTE should allow merging of the Technical Institutions of neighboring areas for the better utilization of the resources.

Kataria welcomed the AICTE step for giving relaxation in the faculty ratio from 1:15 to 1:20 in Engineering & Technology. Kataria further requested AICTE to reduce this ratio from 1:20 to 1:25.
