The students of Science faculty of Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh organized a colourful “FAREWELL” for the outgoing students of B.Sc. Medical, Non- Medical and Computer Science today. Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal, Principal of the College was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. Kanwar Iqbal, Dean and members of faculty of the College also graced the occasion. The venue presented a glamorous look where students of B.Sc. I and II presented a kaleidoscope of cultural items ranging from songs and dances.
The function was a reflection of a combination of western as well as Indian Culture. Modelling act was very exciting and girls were looking charming in their decent outfits. The final year students walked down the ramp wearing elegant attires. The students also showcased dance sequences ranging from classical to contemporary Hindi and Punjabi songs. The final year students recalled the memories of their glorious stay in the college and expressed their profound gratitude towards their teachers for guiding them throughout their stay in the college.
Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal, Principal, while addressing the outgoing Science graduates on this occasion, wished them highly enriching and good luck in all the pursuits of their lives in whatever career they choose and they should carry happy memories of the institution. She also advised them to inculcate discipline in their lives and wished that they may excel in the field of their choice.
