Sikh farmer leader, Chandigarh State President of All India Jatt Mahasabha and National Delegate of the Mahasabha Sardar Rajinder Singh Badheri today termed the attack on Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal as a ‘shameful act’ and said it should not have happened. . But at the same time he said that the junior Badal is misusing the Y-class security provided by the Union government to exert his influence on the common man. He said that at present he is misleading the already frustrated Akali workers only for his political gain.
Mr. Badheri said that Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal is neither a voter of Jalalabad nor a representative there. He said that during the tenure of his government from 2007 to 2017, the Badals had also allegedly spoiled the atmosphere of the state with their goons.
Mr. Badheri also said that the Badal family had turned the Shiromani Akali Dal into a party of goons just like Chautala had done to the Indian National Lok Dal in Haryana.
Mr. Badheri further said that in fact the Badals are creating such an atmosphere for the implementation of President’s rule in Punjab as the BJP wants at the backstage. The BJP and the Badal family are still intertwined.
