A Blood Donation Camp was organized by the Blood Donation Society, NSS and Alumni Association of the P.G. Government College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh in collaboration with Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGI, Chandigarh today. The Camp was inaugurated by Prof. Anita Kaushal, Principal of the college. A total of 74 units of blood were donated. Each donor was presented a gift and a certificate authorized by PGI, Chandigarh along with refreshments. The gifts for the donors were sponsored by Inner Wheel Club of Chandigarh Mid Town.
Motivating the students on this occasion, Principal, Prof. Anita Kaushal appreciated the zeal of the donors, and urged the students to come forward for the noble cause and serve the humanity. She congratulated the organizers for their committed sense of institutional responsibility.
