The Concluding Ceremony of the Environmental Fortnight started by the Shivanand Chaubey Memorial Charitable Trust was completed in association with Mount Carmel School Chandigarh and the Environment Saving Welfare Society. Nearly 70 saplings of Amla, Gurhal, Rat ki Rani, Rose, Parsley, Cardamom, Jasmine, Holy Basil, Sadabhar, Lemongrass, Chandni and other medicinal plants were planted in the campus of Mount Carmel School on the occasion of the closing ceremony.

On this occasion, Principal of Mount Carmel School, Dr. Parveena  Jahn  Singh said that Shivanand Chaubey Memorial Charitable Trust started the environmental fortnight to strengthen the compassion made by the environment, which is a commendable effort. On this occasion Rakesh Sharma, chairman of the Environment Saving Welfare Society, asked all the people of the country to contribute to save the environment.

Trust’s secretary Rahul Choubey said that today is also the birthday of his brother Rohit Kumar Choubey, on which saplings were planted, as well as urged all the children of the school to plant a plant and take care of it on any special occasion.

The chairman of the trust, Sanjay Kumar Choubey, specially thanked the director of the school, Dr. Charles Samuel, Dr. Annie Charles, the principal of the school, Dr. Parveena Jahn Singh, including the school management, and others on the concluding function of the environmental fortnight. Did it

On this occasion Ajay Shukla, Commandant CRPF Balihar Singh, former Deputy Mayor Mr. Anil Kumar Dubey, former Mayor Mr. Devesh Modgil, Dr. Praveena Jahn Singh, Prakash Mishra, Mrinal Yadav, Saroj Choubey, Rahul Choubey, Rakesh Sharma, Jitendra Singh, Soni Goyal , Mahendra Chaubey, Arvind Dubey, Mahendra Dubey,Chandrma mishra, meera sharma, DK Pandey, Arvind Singh, Satish katiyal, Raj Pandey, school staff and other dignitaries were present.

The trust’s secretary Saroj Choubey appealed to all the brothers on this rakhi to plant a plant in the name of their sisters and save it and thanked everyone, including the school management, for the successful event.
