The Department of Computer Applications of Post-Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh organized a colorful Farewell party for the outgoing students of B.C.A-III today. Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal , Principal of the college was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Prof. Rama Arora, Dean, Mr. Kanwar Iqbal, Vice-Principal and members of faculty of the college also graced the occasion. The venue presented a glamorous look where studentsBCA-I & II presented a kaleidoscope of cultural items ranging from songs and dances.The final year students recalled the memories of their glorious stay in the college through a movie highlighting their precious moments spent in the campus. They expressed profound gratitude towards their teachersfor guiding them throughout their stay in the college.
Thestudents also show-cased dance sequences ranging from classical to contemporary Hindiand Punjabi songs. The medley of the students on the foot-tapping numbers had the audience swerving on their feet. The final year students walked down the ramp wearing elegant attires.
Prof. Anita Kaushal, Principal, appreciated the magnificent presentations of the students and wished them luck for their futureendeavors. She motivated them to make the best use of the knowledge and skills they have acquired. She also advised them to inculcate discipline in their lives and wished that they may excel in the field of their choice.
Dr. Pardeep Singh Walia, Head of the Department of Computer Applications assured the outgoing students that the college and faculty would always be there for any help and guidance. He was confident that they would make the institution proud by excelling in their life.
