The 2nd convocation of Creative Zone (Institute of beauty & Wellness) held at Hotel Regenta Almeida here today.
The programme began with lamp lighting and the national Anthem. It followed with cultural programmes and dance performances. Ritika Vasudev, an enterpreneur, consultant and Master Trainer (B&WSSC) NLP Certified Life Coach, was the chief guest.
“We have also tied up with certain NGO’s and will soon start grooming workshops, as well as actual personal grooming sessions, for people living in slum areas, as they do not have access to good personal hygiene,” said Zia Ur Rehman, the owner of the institute.
Ashraf Ali, Director, Creative Zone, said, “If you want to set up your own hair styling and beauty venture, train to become a hair and beauty expert or simply groom yourself and members of your family, there is good news for you. Taking a cue from prime minister Narendra Modi’s Skill Development Scheme – Creative Zone Institute of Beauty & Wellness started the industry friendly courses.”
Also Present on the occasion were Varsha Thakur, Bollywood Anchor, Ashish Kamra, Director, Axia Herbotech, Chandigarh, Inamul Khan, Director, Creative Zone.
Degrees were given to the following students: Monish, Monu, Deepali, Harvinder Kaur, Lakhwinder, Nazim, Priya, Nadeem, Ajay, Sharrok, Aashu, Gurpreet Kaur and Mohit,
The passing out students can get employment in various fields including salons, teaching organizations, beauty industry in other countries and they can also start their own business or can do freelancing.
