Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura near Chandigarh to start Diploma in Agriculture Course from this academic session 2018-19 under its Degree College i.e Aryans Degree College.
This new course would be affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala in which 50 seats have been allotted to Aryans for this Course. Candidates passing 10th Exam from recognized board are eligible for the course. Scholarship would be given toSC/ST/OBC students. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that the Course has been started keeping in mind the need & demand of the Course for Farmers, Insecticides & Pesticides sellers, agricultural seeds seller. Aryans is the first one in the region to get the approval to this course in demand.
Prof. B.S Sidhu, Director, Aryans Group said that Aryans is already running 4 Years Degree program in Agriculture i.e B.Sc in Agriculture in which students from Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, North East etc are studying in the Course. Sidhu added that the course would give benefit to the students of Patiala region.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans has already started admissions for its 12th academic session for various courses like B.Tech, LEET, LL.B, BA-LL.B, B.Com-LL.B, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, GNM, ANM, B.Sc (Agri), B.Ed, MA(Edu), Diploma, BA , B Pharma, D Pharma etc.
