Admission draw for EWS category for the 2018-19 education session in Ankur School, Sector 14, was conducted under the leadership of Principal of School Dr. Parminder Duggal at the school premises. On this occasion the parents reached school campus along with their children.
Principal Dr. Parminder Duggal informed that during 2018-19 education session, in total 62 Admission Forms were deposited by the parents in School. Draws started around 10 a.m. in the supervision of parents and staff members and continued till 11:30 am. She told that during the draw, the parents expressed their eagerness to take out the forms from the drum and the name of selected were declared soon.
Dr. Duggal said that for the EWS category 25% that is 30 seats were kept. Total 62 admission applications were received for this category, in which draw 53 applications was done and 30 applications were withdrawn from a draw drum. 10 waiting list draw were also taken out during this period.
Dr. Duggal also informed that on March 19 an orientation meeting will be organized for the parents of children receiving admission in school. In this meeting parents will be given information about the rules and regulations of the school.
