Week long celebrations of Earth Day were organized in the portals of DAV-15 from 17th April to 22nd April 2017 by the joint collaboration of NSS, NCC and Peace Club. Principal, Mrs. Anuja Sharma motivated the children to take care of mother Earth .She alongwith the staff and students took a pledge in the morning assembly to take care of our Planet Earth.
A plethora of competitions were conducted in all the classes. Children participated with lot of zeal and enthusiasm in poster making, slogan writing, poetry recitation and message writing on the t-shirts. Meritorious students were awarded prizes and certificates. Students apprised everyone about the importance of Earth Day through the arena of Articles, Speeches and Poems in the morning assembly. Signature campaign was also undertaken to save earth.
A special yagya was conducted by the students of the school to pay obeisance to God for retaining the purity and sanctity of mother Earth. The event ended on a happy and positive note.
