Adarsh Public Smart School, Sector 20-B, Chandigarh celebrated the festival of Holi in an environment friendly manner at the school premises. On this occasion, students were given valuable information about the festival. The students greeted each other with abeer and gullal.
Ms. Sunita Thakur, Principal, Adarsh Public Smart School stressed upon healthy Holi by avoiding harmful chemicals mixed with the colors. She said that natural colors and herbal gullal is the way out. Permanent colours should not be used as they are harmful for the skin as well as a lot of water is wasted to clean the colour from the body and clothes.
