Bachpan School, Zirakpur celebrated its 7th Independence Day. The school started with the morning assembly which was based on an I – Day theme. The entire school was decorated with the tricolour. Patriotic songs were also sung and children were dressed as their favourite freedom fighters.
Mukta Sharma, Director said, “We tried to give the message of ‘Right to Equality’ by inviting slum children to the school. The underprivileged children shared their experiences with the school children. The school children also became sensitive towards their less fortunate friends.”
