Indian Nursing Council extends Punjab admission cutoff dates to March 31

Keeping in light the current situation in the country owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi has extended the last date for getting admission into various Nursing Courses till 31st March, 2021 for Academic Year 2020-21, in Punjab, as per recent notification. This will be a golden opportunity for the students & this decision will go a long way towards enabling more aspiring candidates to apply comfortably within the newly declared last dates.

Dr. Rajinderjit Kaur Bajwa, Principal, Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh said that demand for these paramedical courses has increased post Covid as the increase in number of patient with variety of diseases and the demand for immense treatment has paved the way for Nursing Professional to provide better quality to human health care.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while giving more information said that the institute is already running GNM & ANM courses successfully since 10 years & now the B.Sc. Nursing program has been included with an intake of 60 Seats from the current session. The demand for nursing professionals has risen across the globe since the Covid-19 outbreak, and has put nurses in a very bright spotlight, he added.

It is to mention that, the B. Sc. Nursing has been introduced from this 2020- 21 academic session in Aryans Institute of Nursing which is approved by the Government  of Punjab & Punjab Nursing  Registration Council   (PNRC) & affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
