Intersoft Data Labs & Solutions Pvt Ltd, under its CSR initiative, handed over a cheque of Rs 3 lakhs to the Furever Friends, a not for profit animal welfare and rescue organization working in the tricity.
The cheque was given to Ms Gagan Bains, CEO, Furever Friends, in the presence of Rajesh Rai, IRS, Income Tax Commissioner, at a simple programme attended by the NGO core team and volunteers.
Ms Bains said, “We are grateful to Sandeep Passey for this timely support. The donated money will be used for vaccination, upcoming water bowl project, equine cruelty prevention project and medical needs of community animals. It will not only promote betterment of street animals in the Tricity, but will also encourage other organisations to take steps for the same and help reduce human-animal conflicts.”
Sandeep Passey, Managing Director, Intersoft Data Labs & Solutions Pvt Ltd said, “We are happy to do our bit in support of needy street animals. The Furever Friends, founded by Late Shri Vikas Luthra, has been doing a great job in helping and rescuing street dogs and other animals.”
