Jesus Christ always spread the message of love and said that you should love your enemies and pray for those who trouble you. Lawrence Malik, President, Christ the King Church, Nayagaon, while speaking on the occasion of Good Friday and Easter said he sacrificed his life for the good of people.
On this occasion a special service will be organised in the afternoon from 12 to 3 pm as people of Christian community observed fast to mark the occasion of Good Friday. A community lunch was also organised at PGI bus stop.
Lawrence Malik said Good Friday is a day to remember how Jesus Christ sacrificed his own life for others and people keep a 40-day fasting. Others present included Jacob Bhatti, Ronald Dass, Peter Yunus, Rajesh, Rajan, Meenakshi, Anamika, Satinder and Sanjeev.
