JK & Bihar students of Aryans celebrates Ramadan in their PGs

JK and Bihar students of Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh who could not go back to their homes are celebrating the holy month of Ramadan at their respective PGs in Banur, Rajpura, Patiala and Tricity

Following the lockdown measures and keeping social distancing in mind students prayed in their homes for the wellness of the humanity

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group congratulated the students and advised them to follow the guidelines of Centre and State Government including curfew protocol, hand washing social distancing etc.

It is to be mentioned that Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, The length of the Month varies between 29 and 30 days depending on the sighting of the Shawwal Moon which leads to the much awaited Islamic festival of Eid ul Fitr on the 1st of Shawwal and the month in which Quran was revealed to the Islamic Prophet Mohammad S A W observed by practicing Muslims as a month of fasting, reflection, and prayer. It commemorates the first revelation of Muhammed S A W and, as such, observance of the month is considered one of the five pillars of Islam.
