Rotaract Club Chandigarh Himalayan, an NGO registered under Rotary International is aimed to work for the welfare of underprivileged children and schools. Rotary Himalyan Ranges under the supervision of Rtn. Gaurav Ghai along with Rotaract Club Chandigarh Himalayan under the presidentship of Rtr. Tanvi Pirramba organised the 10th season of it’s flagship event Kids’ Olympics – KidO 2020 at Sports Complex, Sector 7, Chandigarh on 2nd February with over 520+ children as participants.
The superheads for the event Rtr. Muskan Gandhi and Rtr. Sanchita Sharma organised the event beautifully. Over 9 athletic games and 4 talent hunt competitions were organized. The event started with the welcoming of chief guests

In the month of January, the volunteers of RCCH visited various orphanages and schools for underprivileged and slum children for KidO 2020. These visits were devoted to bring smiles on the faces of underprivileged children by conducting both talent competition and athletic games.
For the first time, RCCH included Talent hunt competition: “Talent Unearthed ~ Himalayans Spreading Smiles” along with Kids’ Olympics Season 10 to make the event more memorable for the children across the tricity.
Jackets and various gifts were provided to the children and the winners were awarded with medals and awards. Furthermore funds of Rs. 60,000 will be provided to selected 5 students.
The day was filled with lots of happiness and joy with high levels of serotonin and endorphins in children as well as the volunteers.
