The Path Seekers’ Society and NSS unit of DAV College, Sec-10, Chandigarh started “The Kindness Challenge” which will be held from 1-7 July,2020. New tasks will be given to the participants each day which will be based on the themes of kindness towards birds and animals, Kindness towards Nature, kindness towards mother, kindness towards covid warriors and nation and kindness towards self and family.
Around 125 students, teachers and parents are participating in the challenge which has been designed by Vageesha and Vivek, students of DAV College.
On Day 1, participants fed food to the stray animals and also kept a bowl full of water in front of their houses for birds.
Prof(Dr.) Ghanshyam Dev, Incharge of the Path Seekers’ Society said that in these challenging times, it is very important that we help one another and show kindness and gratitude to our mother earth and covid warriors.
Dr. Pawan Sharma, Principal, DAVC appreciated the efforts of the students and stressed that it is call of time that we embibe the value of kindness in us.
