Chandigarh Industrial Youth Association celebrated Lohri today with great zeal and enthusiasm in Industrial Area Phase 2 Chandigarh. This Lohri was dedicated to all girls of India. Nirbhaya and Dr Priyanka Reddy were remembered.
City Mayor Mrs Rajbala Malik, Senior Deputy Mayor Mr Ravikant Sharma , Deputy Mayor Mr Jagtar Singh Jagga Area Councillor Mr Devesh Moudgil Mr Shakti Devshali were present along industrialists from Industrial Area.
CIYA president Mr Harinder Singh Slatch and his team welcomed City Mayor Mrs Rajbala Malik and other guests.
He along with his association’s executives honoured all the guests with shawls.
CIYA vice president Mr Deepak Sharma dedicated this day to Nirbhaya and Dr Priyanka Reddy. He condemned people engaged in heinous crimes against females and asked Govt for fast track trial courts along with strict punishments to ensure safety of females.
Association also reiterated it’s stand for respect safety and dignity of females.
