Panjab University has increased the examination fee quite frequently in the past many years. The remuneration of faculty and staff appointed for conduct and evaluation of university examinations have not been revised since the last seven years.
The memorandum is handed over to the Controller of examination by the Distt. Secretary of PCCTU, Dr. Navneet K. Pruthi. About 190 colleges are affiliated under PU and lakhs of answer books are evaluated every semester and thousands of faculty and staff are assigned examination duty. If the University increases the remuneration of conduct and evaluation, thousands of faculty and staff will be benefited.
