Today, Professor Arun Kumar Grover (Vice Chancellor), Panjab University, launched the interactive website (www.nanoscitech2017.in) for the upcoming International and Interdisciplinary Conference, “NanoSciTech 2017”, in the Vice Chancellor’s committee
room. This interdisciplinary Conference is scheduled to be held on November 8-10, 2017, on the theme of “Expanding Horizons of Nanotechnology: Next Gen Challenges in Biomedical Sciences”, under the aegis of UGC Center of Excellence for Nano Biomedical Applications, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Besides the Conference Chair, Professor Bhupinder Singh Bhoop (Coordinator, UGC Centre of Excellence in Nano Biomedical Applications), Organizing Secretary of NanoSciTech 2017, Professor Anupama Sharma (UICET), the event was also graced by the presence of Professor Ramanjeet Johal, Chairperson, Public Administration, Professor O. P. Katare (Director Research Promotion Cell), Mrs. Renuka B. Salwan (DPR), and several other members of the Organizing Committee of NanoSciTech.
Taking baton forward from the synergy of previous years’ prestigious international
conferences (i.e., NanoSciTech 2012, NanoSciTech 2014 and NanoSciTech 2016), the aim of NanoSciTech 2017 is to bring together the International community working in different domains of nanotechnology, and to provide a conducive milieu for presenting
advancements and applications in nanotechnology in life esp. in the area of biomedical sciences.
Over a dozen of renowned speakers have already confirmed their presence &
participation, with nearly half of them hailing from countries like USA, UK, Australia, Portugal and France. As witnessed during previous years’ conferences, more than 500
delegates from across the globe are anticipated to participate in the deliberations.
The Conference events will encompass plenary lectures, keynote talks, oral
presentations and poster sessions, all demonstrating novel, effectual and cost‐ effectual research outcomes, and the rich information pertaining to nanotechnology- enabled biomedical research.
The deadline for submission of the abstracts for the conference is August 11, 2017, while the deadline for early bird registration is September 5, 2017. The details regarding the procedure for submission of abstract and registration are enlisted in the website at www.nanoscitech2017.in
