Prof. Arun K. Grover, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University presided over the meeting of Core Committee constituted to implement Choice based Credit System (CBCS) in all the affiliated colleges of Panjab University w.e.f 2017-18.
In this regard two sub committees have been formed to finalize the modalities for the implementation of CBCS to finally look into the rules and regulations, structure of the subjects, evaluation etc.
Deans of all faculities, DUI, DCDC and members of Senate, Syndicate attended the meeting.
During the meeting, it has been decided that the Tuition fee and all other funds for the academic session 2017-18 for all the UG and PG courses of all affiliated colleges will not be increased. It was informed that the fee structure of 2016-17 will remain operative.
Dean Colleges will be issuing circular to all the affiliated colleges.
