North West Frontier Head Quarter, ITBP Chandigarh celebrated its 12th Raising Day with great pump and show. The Ex-ITBPean living in and around Chandigarh were specially invited on this occasion. Shri Arvind Kumar, IPS, Inspector General, NW Frontier was the chief Guest at this occasion.

  1. In recognition to its professional competency and overall achievements, ITBP Force has been expanded in manifolds over the years. In the process of expansion, North West Frontier also came into existence on 20th February 2007. Presently 03 Sector Head Quarter and 13 Units in Ladakh, Kashmir valley, Jammu, Punjab and New Delhi regions are deployed under Administrative and Operational control of NW  Frontier for guarding Indo-China Border internal Security duty and VVIP Security duties in Delhi, Chandigarh and J & K.

3      A total of 62 Officers /personnel of different formations of NW Frontier who have been conferred with DG’s commendation Roll and Insignia for their outstanding contribution in different fields during 2017 were honored by Shri Arvind Kumar, IPS, Inspector General on this grand occasion.

  1. In his welcome speech, Sh. Sanjay Kumar Choudhry, Deputy Inspector General highlighted the activities and achievements taken place in North West Frontier during 2017.
  1. Shri Arvind Kumar, IPS, Inspector General conveyed his heartiest felicitations to one and all present in the function. He further emphasized that we all have to be more vigilant towards our duties and always endeavor to accomplish it with true devotion and dedication in order to meet any eventuality.
