Panchkula Ladies Club & Inner Wheel Club Chandigarh Aashiyana organised Women Fun Car Rally on International Women’s Day today. Around 30 ladies in their cars were assembled at Parking of Town Park Yavnika sector 5 Panchkula. Every car had another lady also.. Total 60 ladies were there. All the cars were decorated with red & white balloons. Chief Guest Mamta Sauda Assistant Commissionar of Police Panchkula & Guest of Honour Dr Seema Wadhwa Associate Director Obstetrics & Gynaecology of Max Superspeciality Hospital Mohali green flagged of the rally.
Then car rally proceeded to Hotel Holiday Inn Panchkula to Hotel Bellavista & back to Town Park Panchkula. All the lady drivers were fecilitated with Trophy & first aid kit. Refreshment was served to all the ladies. Sharda Kathpalia & Secretary Anupama Sawhney congratulated everyone for the peaceful & successful car rally. This Women car rally was organised for the first time in the history of Panchkula Ladies Club. Ladies from tricity incuding Doctors, lawyers, Make up artists, Women entrepreneurs, educationists, Working & home makers participated in this car rally.
Encouraging Joyful Safe driving was theme of this car rally. Ladies who participated were Abha Sahni, Anuradha Agarwal, Alka Kaur, Alka Sikka, Amita Gupta Anju Goel, Babita Singh, Balwinder, Darika Darshna, Dr Geetu, Dr Meenu, Karuna, Kuldeep, Monika Mittal, Neeru Kamboj, Raj Mahey, Rachna Duggal, Shakuntala Rani, Smile Sharma, Sunita Nain, Usha Gulati, Usha Sharma & Sudha Rathore.
