PG Govt. College for Girls is ranked 68th amongst 4000+ top institutions of the country in the NIRF ranking announced today by the Union Minister of Human Resource Development Sh. Prakash Javadekar at New Delhi.
PG Government College for Girls, Sec-11, Chandigarh is at Number 1 amongst all the colleges in the entire region including Haryana, Punjab, Himachal, etc.
NIRF ranking is based on many parameters like Teaching Learning and Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcome, Outreach and inclusivity and Perception.
Principal Prof.(Dr.) Anita Kaushal while expressing her happiness on this great achievement said that the higher ranking was made possible only due to the hardwork, dedication and commitment of the entire faculty of the college.
The College has witnessed overall development and growth in all the parameters in recent times. Earlier, it was adjudged top ranking institution with A+ Grade (CGPA of 3.52) in Chandigarh in NAAc Accreditation (2nd Cycle).
College has also been adjudged at 6th Place in Swachhta Ranking in the entire country.
