Shakti Prakash Devshali, Councillor Ward 20 and District President Bharatiya Janata Party Chandigarh started the work of repair of cement concrete flooring in internal streets in EWS Houses (Chandigarh Housing Board Colony), Sector 29-B, Chandigarh. JE Aman Kumar, Govindvel, BJYM Distt. General Secretary Satbir Singh Thakur, Residents Welfare Association representatives Subhash Chand Gupta, Amar Nath Sharma, Pandeyji, Raj Rani besides other local residents were present on the occasion.
Devshali said that it was a long pending demand of the local residents. He himself also visited the area along with the concerned officials of Municipal Corporation and found that the internal streets were damaged and the local residents specially senior citizens were suffering a lot.
He further said that an amount of Rs. 3.00 lac will be spent on the repair of these internal streets and the work will be completed within two months.
