To celebrate success & women power in a unique way, an event ‘She’s Mercedes’ was organised at Panjab Motors(Mercedes-Benz ), in Industrial Area, Phase-I, Mohali.
The event saw an open discussion & idea exchange taking place where successful young women who are running their independent companies, came together under ‘The Dialogue Collective’, to provide sustainable solutions to business issues, promotion of artisans, inclusive development of India et al. The speakers provided ideas that were authentic, creative and included messages given with a social intent.
The audience comprised of the who’s who of tricity and high profile women socialites. The speakers were Shaymli Chaudhary , Saaskhi, Mallika Suri , Cyndra , Vaishali, ,Ananya Kamboj , Nimrit Nain & Gunjan Gaur. Shyamli who observes, identifies and works with skilled and hidden craftspeople of India spoke on ‘Consumer craft awareness’, Saakshi’s subject was ‘Connecting Digitally’, a Digital Marketing Consultant she is known for her sensitivity towards art and artisans. Mallika spoke on ‘Woman driven brands and how they influence young minds’. A Graphic Designer she has plenty of experience, talent and perseverance in textile and craft designing. Cyandra’s subject was ‘ CSR and giving back to our communities’. Vaishali spoke on ‘Quality and design in handicrafts &handloom’. Vaishali has 15 plus years of multidimensional experience in Product Design and Development . Ananya’s topic was ‘Digital divine’. She is just 14-years-old & is an ambassador of football and women empowerment. Nimrit Nain also gave an engrossing talk. She is a former journalist & now an entrepreneur who’s interest is in mental wellness , mentoring women in business etc. Gunjan Gaur who is Director The Alps Beauty Group also gave an interesting talk.
The engaging session also witnessed an Art Exhibition ‘Artscapes’ which had beautiful art works by women artists. The event concluded with a business networking high tea the highlight of this were delectable Spanish snacks.

The session underlined the importance of women empowerment for the betterment of society. It also showcased how young women of the region worked against all odds to triumph in their chosen fields, in a society considered to be a male bastion. The women who attended the function were felicitated by the organisers.
