Bollywood singer and popular Punjabi Bhangra Pop star Daler Mehendi entertained the audience on the concluding day of the 10-day National Crafts Mela at Kalagram on Sunday.

Massive crowd turned up to witness the extravaganza that included folk performances and evening concerts.

Daler rendered popular numbers like Tunak Tunak Tun, Bolo tara ra ra, his latest hit Jiyo re Bahubali and many more.

The visitors tapped their feet on the bhangra beats and painted the venue red. Daler has many albums to his credit. Dardi Rab Rab, Punjabiyan da King, Tunak Tunak Tumba, Ek Dana to name a few.

He rose to stardom with his album Bolo Tara Ra Ra in the 1990’s followed by other massive hits.

He has been contributing as a playback singer for Bollywood films and has several films in his kitty. Bahubali, Lakeerein, ABCD 2 are among few.

Aakash Jaitly as Ableton Player and Sound Engineer, Mandeep Sharma on Keyboard, Tarun Bhasin on Percussion, Pritpal Singh on Dhol, Amar Kanjam on Bass Guitar, Anna Semenko on Saxophone, Satwant Singh and Joginder Singh on Chorus gave apt and pleasing contributions.

Secretary Cultural Affairs U.T. Chandigarh Vinod P. Kavle, Director Cultural Affairs U.T. Chandigarh Sorabh Kumar Arora and Director NZCC Professor Saubhagya Vardhan were present on the occasion.
