The Children Welfare Centre’s school and Clara’s College of Commerce successfully celebrated its 37th Annual Festival on Saturday, 17th February 2018 at their Children Welfare Centre High School ground situated at Yari Road, Andheri (West), Mumbai. The occasion ringed the air of ecstasy with everyone – students, staff, distinguished guests and celebrities enjoying every moment of this joyous celebration. The students actively participated in the event and presented various cultural programs which included music, dance and dramas too.  

On the occasion honourable guests like social activist, politicians and philanthropist like Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam,Ex.Ashok Jadhav, MLA Bharati Lavekar, MLA Ameet Satam, Corporator Rohan Rathore , PR.Commissionera of Income Tax Rakesh Bhaskar IRS,Sr.Police Inspector of Versova Police Station Kiran Kale and celebrities like Sridevi, Jackie Shroff, Tusshar Kapoor,Neil Nitin Mukesh,Shivaji Satam,Anita Raj,Shreyas Talpade,Ravi Kishan,  took turns handing prizes to the participants of this programme and the deserving students and also imparted words of encouragement and inspiration.

                              Ajay Kaul, the principal of Children Welfare Centre High School and President of social organisation ‘Ekata Manch’ also launched his initiative ‘Free Roti Sabji scheme’ at the venue in a grand manner. This social initiative is to provide one-time free meals to the poor and needy. Voicing his thoughts, Ajay Kaul said, “Apart from providing education to all our children, we also teach them good values with the aim of caring and sharing and living in harmony within the society. This will make our growing students compassionate and understand the human virtues and the sorrows of the society. They should understand the reason for the various social initiatives needed to help the needy, poor and downtrodden.” He further extended his thanks to dabbawala / tiffin carrier Vilas Shinde and his colleagues for joining and helping him in his free one-time meal scheme and delivering it to the deserving people.”
