The half centuries from  Sarthak and Vivek lifted Terrace Zone to lay a strong  foundation for a massive score against Peace Zone at the ongoing UTCA Under-19 Domestic Cricket Tournament being played at Baba Balak Nath Cricket Academy, Kaimbala on Monday. . Terrace Zone won the toss and elected to bat first. The middle order batsmen – Sarthak (79), Vivek (55), Siddharth (49) and Harshul (38) helped the team to pile up 326/9 at the end of the first day. Paras (4/29) took four wickets.

Meanwhile, in another league match played between Rose Zone and Plaza Zone at Chandigarh Institute of Cricket, a total  of18 wickets fell on the very first day of the match. Rose Zone won the toss and elected to bat first and was bundled out for mere 143 runs. Skipper Nikhil Kumar (53) was the top scorer for the batting side while Prince Yadav (4/29) and Raghav Verma (3/2) took the maximum wicket from the opposition side. In reply, Plaza Zone scored 228/8 before the stumps were drawn. Karthik Vardhan (106) smashed the century while Raghav Verma  (59) scored a half century. Ishan Garh (3/49) took three wickets.
