The most awaited International Travel and Tourism Exhibition, India Travel Mart (ITM) Chandigarh is back in the city. The three-day exhibition by ICM group took off today.
Many International Tourism Boards, State Tourism Departments, Hoteliers, Travel Agents & Tour Organizers are participating under one roof. ITM is known for its unique quality of exhibitions and travel events showcasing the best from the Travel, Tourism, Hospitality and other related industries. Most of the prominent Indian states are participating in the same, besides some resorts as well. The Exhibition is spread over 2 halls.
The main focus of the exhibition is on making travel more interesting and hassle free for the traveler. It provides a detailed knowledge about the various sources that can help make most of your travel. There is a wide variety of attractive packages and unique tourist destinations to choose from. The exhibition also focuses on inbound, outbound & domestic tourism, special emphasis in promoting Adventure, Pilgrimage, Beach Holidays, Hill Destinations, Honeymoon Plans, Business Trips and Medical Tourism. This exhibition brings the unique experience of specially prepared Travel, Tour & holiday packages and good bargains from leading Hotels, Resorts, Travel agents, Tour Operators from India and Abroad.
There are some special attractions and one can win prizes like holiday packages, airline tickets, dinner vouchers, spa vouchers, goody bags, travel bags etc. There is a Travel Quiz & Travel Painting for children and many more such fun activities.
The entry is free and the exhibition is on till February 24th, from 11 am till 7 pm at Himachal Bhawan, Sector 28 B, here on Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday timings will be 11 am to 6 pm.
