Verka the most loved dairy brand of the region has been awarded the prestigious “NDDB Excellence Award 2016.” Mr Udham Singh, General Manager, Verka received the award from honorable Minister of Agriculture, Govt of India Sh Radha Mohan Singh in a glittering award ceremony, in presence of Honorable Chief Minister of Gujrat Sh. Vijay Rupani at NDDB Anand, Gujrat. The award ceremony also marked the foundation day of NDDB.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Udham Singh said, “It is a great honor to receive this award. Verka has always believed in delivering the best without compromising the quality. I dedicate this award to the team and the farmers who are the backbone of dairy farming.”
On this occasion NDDB also felicitated a progressive female dairy farmer, to acknowledge contribution of dairy farmers in the dairying industry. Mrs Surinder Kaur from village Akalgarh has been selected for this honor.
