VR Punjab shopping fiesta ends, customer Usha Sharma wins a brand new Santro

VR Punjab concluded its Diwali Maujaanwali- the fiesta, which was Powered by India’s No.1 Radio station Mirchi 98.3.

Usha Sharma from Kharar won a new Santro car in the lucky draw, conducted at the premises of the centre. Said an ecstatic Usha, “VR Punjab has always been our family’s favourite shopping destination. We are delighted to have won the new Santro car and thank VR Punjab for this wonderful gift.”

Not just  a car, the festival gave tricity residents who visited and shopped at VR Punjab during the festival period as many as 4 TVS Jupiter scooters and 5 refrigerators.

Alongside the fiesta VR Punjab also organised ‘Mela Mitran Da’,  which gave an opportunity to shoppers to enjoy traditional meals and pick up festive products like clay lamps, diyas, costume jewellery, Punjab’s famous phulkari, Punjabi jutties, Punjabi suits etc. Lot of traditional food and delicacies were available and enjoyed by the visitors, along with cultural performances of regional folk dances from Punjab & Himachal Pradesh.

VR Punjab had paid special attention to the needs of kids during the fiesta. In  ‘Klassy klasses’ which were a series of workshops, children were taught decorative diya making, making greeting cards, kaleidoscope making among other things. Hamleys conducted a workshop on developing a rocket launcher which was a hit with the kids.

“Diwaali Maujaanwali is becoming the most awaited celebration in the region. Our focus is to offer the best variety of shopping and gifting for the festival along with traditional celebrations integrated for Karwa Chauth & Dhanteras.” Said Jermina Menon, Vice President(Marketing), Virtuous Retail.
