The Political Science Association of D.A.V. College Sector 10-D, Chandigarh organized a webinar on the topic ” Indo-China face-off in the Geo-Economic sector – An introspection and Future Strategy” on 29th July,2020. The event started with the welcome speech by Dr.Sutapa Saryal, teacher co-ordinator for the event. Dr. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Principal D.A.V. College graced the webinar with his eloquent words, sharing his views on the topic.
The speaker for the event was Mr. Sarvesh Kaushal, a retired IAS officer and former Chief Secretary, Govt of Punjab. Mr. Kaushal shared his views on India-China relations with major focus on China’s growing influence with regards to India, the recent Indo-China face-off, trade relations and future strategies to deal with the current situation.
More than 120 students participated in the webinar from various colleges and universities.
Dr. Ghanshyam Dev, Head of the Dept Political Science concluded the event with the vote of thanks to the organizers and participants. The event was a grand success.
