The science students of Post-Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh organized a “Welcome” Function for the fresher of B.Sc. I Medical, Non Medical and Computer Science. The theme of all the items was “Bollywood” and it was the highlight of the function. Entertaining and eye catching events like dancing, modeling were showcased by the students. The function was a reflection of a combination of western as well as Indian Culture. Modeling act was very exciting and new buds were looking charming in their decent outfits. Principal, Mrs. Prof (Dr.) Anita Kaushal was chief guest on the occasion, under whose able guidance; the institution has achieved the heights of glory in all fields. Addressing the fresher’s on this occasion, she wished that their stay in the college would be highly enriching and wished them good luck in all the pursuits of their life. The function concluded with a sparkling and colorful ‘Giddha’ presented by the “Punjabi Mutiyars” which won a loud round of applause from the audience.
