Education cannot be confirmed to merely knowledge, it goes much beyond the realms of books. Inclusive education is the need of the hour, which prepares a student to take on the challenges of life and be able to take the right decision, beneficial for mankind, said principal Mrs. Jaya Bhardwaj while addressing the students on the occasion of World Literacy Day.

A Yagya was organized at Hansraj Public School as an auspicious start to the day and also to re-emphasize the need and importance to inculcate traditional values among the students. The students were urged to recognize the implication of Vedas in modern life Despita being the most ancient scriptures of human civilization their teachings hold true even to this day. A Bhajan Sandhya was organized in the evening which was attended by eminent scholars of the D.A.V. fraternity Pandita Sudesh Acharya, lent her voice and filled the evening with the melodious bhajans, all in the praise of the almighty.

Chief Guest, Sh. S.K. Sharma, Secretary, Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Sabha, New Delhi congratulated principal Mrs. Jaya Bhardwaj for her selfless dedication to the cause of spreading education with the purpose of preparing global citizens. Hansraj Public school blends traditional education with latest teaching methodology and thus strives to create people who can be entrusted with the responsibility to keep our rich heritage alive and still be in sync with a progressive world, he said.

Guest of Honour Sh H.R. Gandhar, advisor, D.A.V.C.M.C. New Delhi appreciated the efforts of Principal Mrs. Jaya Bhardwaj to provide quality education to the students.
