Maharishi Dayanand Sarswati’s 193rd birthday was celebrated by Kendriya Arya Sabha at Arya Samaj, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh.
The D.A.V. educational institutions and Arya Samaj’s of Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, Derabassi, Kurali, Ropar and Surajpur participated in it with full zeal and zest. They were honoured for best Jhankis presented on the occasion of Shobha Yatra.
Acharya Vishnu Mitra Vedarthi, Dr. Vikram Veveki, Dr. Pratibha Purandhi delivered lecture on contribution of Maharshi Dayanand. Shri Ravinder Talwar, President of Kendriya Arya Sabha thanked the participants at the conclusion of the program. Pandit Kalyan Dev Bedi and Rajesh Verma sang religious songs. Justice Pritampal, Justice A.L. Bahri, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Dharamveer, Dharamveer Batra, Prakash Chader Sharma, Madu Bahal , Principals , Teachers of DAV Schools and members of Tricity Arya Samaj were also present on the occasion.
