Competent Foundation in association with UT Cricket Association organized 22nd Blood Donation camp at Cricket Stadium sector 16, Chandigarh and Competent Office in Sector 67 Mohali. The camp was inaugurated by President of Competent Foundation and UTCA Sanjay Tandon.
Total of 241 units of blood was donated in this camp. The blood donation camp was managed by PGI blood Bank. Sanjay Tandon along with his wife Priya Tandon, Son Saransh, Shiven and Satyam Tandon and members of Competent Foundation and UTCA and employees of HDFC Bank donated blood. BJP organizational Secretary Dinesh Kumar and HDFC VP Harish Gupta were also present on the occasion and met the donors as encouraged them to donate blood regularly.
Sanjay Tandon thanked all the donors and people gathered to wish him on his birthday. He said “Such blood donation camps, which are organized twice a year, are because of the inspiration from my father Late Sh. Balramji Das Tandon, who unfortunately is not with us now.” He said, he plans to keep organizing such camps in future also. Apart from the blood donation camps, Competent Foundation is also involved in organ and eye donation drives.
A large number of people from different walks of life UTCA Senior Vice President H S Khurana, Vivek Atray, Gen Secretary Subhash Mahajan, Chandigarh Police DIG Ombir Bishnoi, BJP Chandigarh State Vice President Ramvir Bhatti, Gen. Secretary Chandra Shekhar, Office Secretary Gajender Sharma, Distt President Jatinder Malhotra, Ravikant Sharma, Devi Singh, Shakti Prakash Devshali, Hukam Chand, Media Incharge Ravinder Pathania, Councillor Heera Negi, Chandrawati Shukla, Yuma Morcha President Gaurav Goel and Amit Rana, Arundeep Singh and Mandal President, BJP workers, Members of Chandigarh Vyapar Mandal, Chandigarh Police Officers, Sector 32 Hospital employees, Dhanvantri College Students, Teachers, Traders, Sports Persons, Religious and Social Activists participated in the Blood Donation camp and wished him on his birthday.
