North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Patiala (Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India) organized a 3 days Exhibition of Paintings, Sculptures & Graphics by the Young & Senior Artists of Tricity at the Art Gallery of Kalagram, Chandigarh from April 13 to 15, 2018.
In this exhibition, the renowned artists – Sh.Ravinder Sharma, Sh.Prabhinder Lall, Sh.Viney Vadhera, Ms.Sadhna Sangar, Sh.Madan Lal, Ms.Gurmeet Goldie, Sh.Vishal Bhatnagar, Sh.Anand C Shende, Ms.Kavita Singh, Sh.Jaspal Kamana, Sh.Pankaj Saroj, Sh.Pritpal Singh, Sh.Rahul Dhiman, Sh.Jaspreet Singh, Sh.Rishi Raj Tomer & Sh.Balraj Singh have displayed their art works.
The exhibition was inaugurated by renowned Painter Prof.Harsh Vardhan, Incharge, Painting Department, Institute of Music & Fine Arts, University of Jammu on April 13, 2018 at 5.30 pm. Prof.Harsh Vardhan took a round of the exhibition and appreciated the role of each artist in carrying forward the legacy of rich Indian art and culture and also appreciated the efforts made by Prof. Saubhagya Vardhan, Director, North Zone Cultural Centre to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of various regions of the country, by offering a platform to the artists to showcase their talents. Sh.Kamal Arora, Chairman, Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi, Chandigarh also grace the occasion as Guest of Honour. Sh.Mushtaaque Ali Ahmed Ali Khan, Cultural Activist from J&K was also present on this occasion.
The exhibition will remain open till April 15, 2018 (from 11.00 am to 7.00 pm, daily)
